Most UPS switch to higher internal voltages after 3000VA. This is a 5000VA line interactive, pure sine wave UPS that runs ona 48V source. It has internal cells and a common Anderson connector on the rear to add more cells. This connector and the 48V DC system make this an ideal UPS for PV installations and for example if you want a UPS that you could use with a fork lift truck battery bank (which are common to use 48VDC) for extended power protection runtime. It has many fans and good consideration has been given to thermal management.

It has a large toroid transformer. This is extremely rare, and a sign of the quality of components used in the design. It has a hard wire input terminal block 3x C19 output 8x C13 output. 12x 12v9AH cells installed in the UPS.
