We currently have too many of these in stock so are offering some at a discounted price. These listings are for units without the front plastic bezel. Likewise the control panel is not the normal type.
We fit one that is rectangular with cable ties. This does not effect performance, but is inferior to the units in complete condition. The price has been adjusted accordingly. You can see the work in the photographs. 1x Input C19 lead included. Simply plug into the wall power, then attach your devices. As the unit is an XL type it has provision to add extra cells (48VDC rail) via the rear connector. This can be handy for home energy storage, or for example creating massive run times by attaching to a fork lift truck battery bank. In addition to that the XL units are the golden-engineered from APC.
They have always been more thoroughly reworked when compared to the none XL type and have a reputation. For example larger capacitor banks and much bigger transformers than you might expect. When unloading pallets we know that its an XL or not just by weight alone.
They are a heavy duty UPS with a well designed internal layout (for cooling). They have a fan that is on all of the time. The UPS has been thoroughly tested, and comes with brand new cells so you can expect it to work long term. The nominal SLA cell life that we are seeing from repeat business from customers is between 3 and 7 years depending on the use profile and installation site temperature (cooler is better for SLA cells). Our units are refurbished but will perform the same. They are cheaper and will have signs of previous use (painting touched up or resprayed where needed). As the cells are new the power support runtimes will be the same as a new UPS from APC. It can be used as a rackmount unit or a tower. Likewise with network cards - we have a range and can quote the options. Under normal circumstances orders before 3PM are dispatched on the day of order. Large units / quantities may roll over to being dispatched the next day. We try to meet all customer deadlines.
All of our consignments are sent fully insured on a 24 hour service with our carriers. We cover all problems that occur in transit.
We have the packing materials to make sure that there are no problems in transit. Our warehouse is based in the UK. This had an effect on our adverts - clicking on a thumbnail image to view a high resolution version no longer worked.
